InDesign is a piece of software that allows you to create interactive media using photos texts and links.
Here is a step by step guide on how to use it.
This is creating a new project with 2 columns and 1 page.
First you need to click on new project. Then select the options shown in the picture above.
Here i am drawing the box for my image to sit in.
To do this you will need to select the Rectangle Frame Tool and draw round the area you want to your image to fit into as shown above.
I have added my image now.
To do this you will need to go to file, place(cmd D if on a Mac) and then select the image you are using. once you have done this you will need to select the selection tool at the top of the bar on the left then right clicking and selecting fitting, fill frame proportionally and it will appear as mine does.
I have now created 2 columns and filled them with place holder text. i have added a header and a caption in the text boxes.
To do this you will need to select the text box tool and draw the area you want to type in. after this you will type your text. Then you need to add a hyperlink. To do this, you will need to copy the web address .
After this you need to highlight the text you want to be linked, right click and select Hyperlinks then new hyper link. paste the web address where it asks for the URL.
